Bajen Fans FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alf Ivarsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anders Soned breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rutger Västlund kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonard Skytt during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute, Leonard Skytt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 18 in the game by Gustaf Wiklund from a close distance when the talented Magne Vallgren managed to make a qualified save. Bajen Fans FC's players were relieved. When Roland Tingelholm fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Syrianska FC's protests and gave Roland Tingelholm a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Syrianska FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. With his leg Magne Vallgren managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Syrianska FC's Gustaf Wiklund fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 27th match minute, Syrianska FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Mårtensson to maneuver through the defense. Alf Ivarsson struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Anders Soned didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bajen Fans FC. With a little luck, Bajen Fans FC's Magne Vallgren got control of the ball when Gustaf Wiklund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gustaf Wiklund's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Magne Vallgren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Leonard Skytt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Soned having to interfere. The supporters of Bajen Fans FC booed when Syrianska FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Mårtensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 42 played minutes Syrianska FC got a freekick which was hit by Jörgen Apelquist. 43 minutes into the match, Bajen Fans FC's Leonard Skytt broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Leonard Skytt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

51 minutes into the game, Henning Lindholm recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anders Soned. Henning Lindholm showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Anders Soned acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 55th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jan Västlund. Magne Vallgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaf Wiklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 61 played minutes Bajen Fans FC got a freekick which was hit by Erik Widberg. Magne Vallgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaf Wiklund in the 69th minute of play. Anders Soned made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Skytt in the 72nd minute of play. Magne Vallgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Sundberg in the 76th minute of the match. Gustaf Wiklund took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Magne Vallgren. Magne Vallgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The supporters of Syrianska FC booed when Bajen Fans FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valter Ödmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Bajen Fans FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Emander came free, but Magne Vallgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valter Ödmann hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When Robert Mårtensson came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Syrianska FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Mårtensson couldn't finish the play.
