After 8 minutes of play, FC Mattsson's Jörn Trulsson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Georg Bengtsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wiktor Björck took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Georg Bengtsson. With his leg Gustaf Dusett managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when ffffff FC's Birger Björkkvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 35th minute Jörn Trulsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Bengtsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulf Olenberg during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

FC Mattsson played a much better game than ffffff FC and deserved their victory. The ffffff FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
