After a rather tough play, Harestad's Anton Alströmmer got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Johan Blomqvist's late challenge caught a Lilla Skania's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lilla Skania's Agne Johnsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Lilla Skania from getting a goal against them. In the 15th match minute, Lilla Skania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Hjeltman to maneuver through the defense. Eskil Ingemarsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Agne Johnsson made a huge save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavius Encea couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd match minute, Lilla Skania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Olof Pettersson to maneuver through the defense. Christian Beneth struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Agne Johnsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harestad. In the 51st minute, Anders Asplund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gunnar Pilblad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anders Asplund in the 55th minute of the match. If Eskil Ingemarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Flavius Encea came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Lilla Skania fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavius Encea couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eskil Ingemarsson in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agne Johnsson saved Lilla Skania from getting behind. After 74 minutes Harestad's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ulf Hjeltman who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Lilla Skania's corner Ulf Hjeltman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gunnar Pilblad quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lilla Skania's zone, Johan Blomqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agne Johnsson came out of the goal and Johan Blomqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lilla Skania made a substitution. Tommy Wiklund replaced Michael Stabbe. The audience was convinced that Eskil Ingemarsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Agne Johnsson was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Gunnar Pilblad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Åström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 played minutes Lilla Skania got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Olof Pettersson. In the 89th match minute, Harestad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Alströmmer to maneuver through the defense. Harestad's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
