Leif Skark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Gabrielsson in the 8th minute of play. Sören Wik was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 10th minute. FC Proteinshejk's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Herman Lund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sören Wik in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Hjelm in the 14th minute of play forced FC Proteinshejk's goalkeeper Leif Skark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Dicks BK's David Hedling couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Proteinshejk. In the 23rd minute, Mats Ekeroth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 24 minutes, David Hedling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Dicks BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Hedling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Herman Lund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sören Wik's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Måns Skräddare hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 37th match minute, FC Proteinshejk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Björklund to maneuver through the defense. The Dicks BK's Sebastian Gabrielsson got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Allan Hjelm made the kick off in the second half. Sören Wik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herman Lund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Carlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Lasse Bula scored 1-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herman Lund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Dicks BK's Herman Lund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lasse Bula in the 68th minute of play. Herman Lund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Carlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Wik in the 71st minute of play forced The Dicks BK's goalkeeper Herman Lund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Sebastian Gabrielsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Leif Skark was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Leo Carlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. FC Proteinshejk's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
