The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Surte BF booed when AS Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Greger Västberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th match minute, AS Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Brenner to maneuver through the defense. Jimi Hendrix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Lundström having to interfere. Surte BF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
