The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Charles Vennerlund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Oskar Ros went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 14 minutes in the game, Karl-Oskar Ros dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Charles Vennerlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Oskar Ros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charles Vennerlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Olsmann in the 17th minute of play. Sven-Edvin Törnblom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henric Alin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kennet Falck was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Charles Vennerlund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edwin Vallander charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edwin Vallander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th match minute, Öland fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edwin Vallander to maneuver through the defense. Sven-Edvin Törnblom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henric Alin in the 41st minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lars Olsmann to make the kick off. Kennet Falck kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Lars Olsmann struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Charles Vennerlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Öland fc. The supporters of Skå IK booed when Öland fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Wahlnäs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charles Vennerlund made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Karl-Oskar Ros sent off a good shot on target. If Lars Olsmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Skå IK's zone, Lars Olsmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles Vennerlund came out of the goal and Lars Olsmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Skå IK's Henric Alin in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Öland fc's goalie prevented a goal. Henric Alin took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Edvin Törnblom. Lars Olsmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Vennerlund having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
