Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Olof Jonasson kicked off to start the match. Agne Johnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, AS Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Asplund came free, but Harry Lundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute Olof Jonasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agne Johnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute AS Roma were awarded a corner. Bo-Erik Berggren went to the cornerflag to take it. AS Roma's Bo-Erik Berggren was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Agne Johnsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 15th minute, Anders Asplund made a precise shot to the right of Harry Lundström. AS Roma's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Sven-Olof Pettersson hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Flavius Encea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harry Lundström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jens-Ola Pedersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harry Lundström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavius Encea went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 33rd minute Sven-Olof Pettersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Lundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harry Lundström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Asplund, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Herbert Hjortsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jens-Ola Pedersson hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Lilla Skania's Fedor Agureev got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anders Asplund made a kick off. 0-4 became the score in the 55th minute when Anders Asplund elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Herbert Hjortsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AS Roma's Kjell-Arne Larsson got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, Flavius Encea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Harry Lundström. Flavius Encea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. The supporters of AS Roma booed when Lilla Skania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reine Löfgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Herbert Hjortsberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Agne Johnsson. Lilla Skania's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herbert Hjortsberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Harry Lundström made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Flavius Encea sent off a good shot on target. Lilla Skania's Flavius Encea was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 75th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Richard Brenner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lilla Skania made a substitution. Tommy Wiklund replaced Michael Stabbe. After 83 minutes, Fedor Agureev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lilla Skania and the AS Roma players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lilla Skania's Fedor Agureev got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Richard Brenner might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agne Johnsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Richard Brenner ran back to his position shaking his head. AS Roma's Harry Lundström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Åström in the 87th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in AS Roma fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! Lilla Skania were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after AS Roma's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. John Utter took the corner. The corner led Lilla Skania's John Utter to fire away a dangerous shot which Harry Lundström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind AS Roma's goalkeeper Harry Lundström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavius Encea got free with Harry Lundström in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lilla Skania had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
