After a defensive mix-up in Hässelby BK's zone, Sven Åberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olov Brolin came out of the goal and Sven Åberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Sven Åberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hallsberg FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven Åberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olov Brolin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 8th minute, Sven Åberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Hässelby BK defense, Arvid Hybbert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olov Brolin. The Hässelby BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olov Brolin should have stopped the shot. Olov Brolin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvid Hybbert in the 13th minute of the match. Olov Brolin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Åberg in the 14th minute of play. Hallsberg FK's Gösta Ferm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Hallsberg FK from getting a goal against them. Olov Brolin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arvid Hybbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Hallsberg FK fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Hallsberg FK's Sven Åberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arvid Hybbert scored 0-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olov Brolin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th minute, Sven Åberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hubert Lindberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Olov Brolin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arvid Hybbert to strike the kick off in the second half. Hässelby BK's Olov Brolin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Hässelby BK from getting a goal against them. Olov Brolin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvid Hybbert in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Arvid Hybbert made a precise shot to the right of Olov Brolin. Hässelby BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Hässelby BK's Olov Brolin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvid Hybbert in the 59th minute of play. Sven Åberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Brolin having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Sven Åberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Olov Brolin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Arvid Hybbert came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Hallsberg FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arvid Hybbert couldn't finish the play. Olov Brolin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 70th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. Gösta Ferm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Salqvist in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Sven Åberg notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Hässelby BK's Olov Brolin. Olov Brolin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hallsberg FK's Arvid Hybbert was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 80th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Arvid Hybbert put it in 0-9 from a short distance just to the right of Olov Brolin. In the 89th minute, Arvid Hybbert made a precise shot to the right of Olov Brolin. Hässelby BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. Hubert Lindberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hallsberg FK's David Biörk got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hallsberg FK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
