Spectators: 7631 (Terracing: 5724, Seating: 1755, VIP seats: 152) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sonny Mattsson kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sonny Mattsson in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gösta Ferm saved Hallsberg FK from getting behind. 5 minutes into the match, Hallsberg FK's goal looked a bit too open when Sonny Mattsson came free, but Gösta Ferm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a left leg Gösta Ferm saved Hallsberg FK from getting behind. 14 minutes into the game, Christer Gudmundsson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fc Bjärnum's Kurt Håning quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Fc Bjärnum's Valter Bengtsson got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hallsberg FK's Gösta Ferm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sonny Mattsson in the 17th minute of play. Fc Bjärnum's Valter Bengtsson got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arvid Hybbert took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henry Holmgren. Henry Holmgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Anton Ahlerot scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gösta Ferm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fc Bjärnum's Sonny Mattsson got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Sonny Mattsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gösta Ferm was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Sven Åberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Henry Holmgren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee felt a red card was in order, 46 minutes into the game, when Victor Klint put in a rough tackle. In the 45th minute, one of Hallsberg FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hallsberg FK. Hallsberg FK:s Gösta Ferm showed great skill when he stopped Anton Ahlerot:s penalty. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Arvid Hybbert made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Fc Bjärnum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Myhr to maneuver through the defense. Arvid Hybbert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 54 played minutes Hallsberg FK got a freekick which was hit by Arvid Hybbert. Hallsberg FK's attentive Niklas Lindberg managed to snatch the ball when Thomas Wiman made a throw-in in the 58th minute of the game. In the 60th minute, Anton Ahlerot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 65 minutes of play, Hallsberg FK's Hubert Lindberg made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henry Holmgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hubert Lindberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Holmgren having to interfere. Gösta Ferm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sonny Mattsson in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute Valter Bengtsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gösta Ferm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fc Bjärnum's Anton Hurtig got a free kick in the 84th minute. David Biörk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Holmgren having to interfere. After having played for 87 minutes, Hubert Lindberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hallsberg FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hubert Lindberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Anton Ahlerot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fc Bjärnum's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
