Spectators: 5150 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bo Hammarberg made the kick off which started today's match. After 5 played minutes Kullavik got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Hamberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Tomasson in the 7th minute of play forced Kullavik's goalkeeper Tom Alströmmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sten Tomasson took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tom Alströmmer. Tom Alströmmer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Kullavik's Thomas Nyström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jörgen Malmström. That made the score 1-1 after 14 minutes of play. A collision led to Lokomotiv Röda Stjärnan getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Arne Gustafsson hit a great ball. Lokomotiv Röda Stjärnan's Jörgen Malmström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Lokomotiv Röda Stjärnan from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the game, Per-Arne Bröms was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lokomotiv Röda Stjärnan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kullavik the free kick. In the 29th minute Calle Lindberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörgen Malmström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sten Tomasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Thomas Nyström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jörgen Malmström. That made the score 2-1 in the 33 minute of play. After 41 minutes of play, Kullavik's Allan Smed made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jörgen Malmström was left in no man's land by his defense there! 44 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Röda Stjärnan's goal looked a bit too open when Calle Lindberg came free, but Jörgen Malmström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Thomas Nyström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kullavik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

In the 52nd minute, Kurt Petersson made a precise shot to the right of Jörgen Malmström. Lokomotiv Röda Stjärnan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. When the referee ended the match the Kullavik players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
