After 35 played minutes, Malmvägen Boys's Tommy Klintæus shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tomas Persson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Malmvägen Boys reached it. Nils-Emil Nyström hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Kjell Smedfeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Tomas Persson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

57 minutes into the match, Nils-Emil Nyström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomas Persson. Grebbestad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nils-Emil Nyström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Johnny Eriksson came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Grebbestad's Sven-Olof Lund. But to his dismay, Sven-Olof Lund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Roy Kalfhage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Johnny Eriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johnny Eriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pontus Skoog, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Sven-Oskar Falkrans kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattias Mårtensson couldn't finish the play. When Grebbestad's Pontus Skoog in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Malmvägen Boys's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 96 minutes, Mattias Mårtensson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grebbestad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mattias Mårtensson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Grebbestad were the better team. Grebbestad's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
