The Hässelby BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olov Brolin should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Stenman in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olov Brolin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hässelby BK's Olov Brolin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Hässelby BK from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute, Hedesunda's Christian Stenman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Olov Brolin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evert Levander, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Evert Levander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hedesunda's supporters rose to their feet, but Evert Levander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olov Brolin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christian Stenmans short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Olov Brolin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Evert Levander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Stenman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Olov Brolin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 48 minutes into the match, Hässelby BK's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Stenman came free, but Olov Brolin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcus Nyberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Björn Salqvist struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Christoffer Forsberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hässelby BK. Olov Brolin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Stenman in the 55th minute of play. Olov Brolin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evert Levander, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute.
