After 39 minutes of play, Hedesunda's Sonny Sandström made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After some careless play in the Malmvägen Boys defense, Evert Levander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johnny Eriksson. The Malmvägen Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johnny Eriksson should have stopped the shot. But to his dismay, Ingemar Nordkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. In the 84th minute, Sten Boman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christoffer Forsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Emil Nyström in the 86th minute of the match. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Malmvägen Boys's goalkeeper Johnny Eriksson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sonny Sandström struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Johnny Eriksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hedesunda. Sonny Sandström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnny Eriksson having to interfere. In the 94th minute Evert Levander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Eriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johnny Eriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sonny Sandström, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
