Spectators: 7513 (Terracing: 5635, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Håkan Flink took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Verner Blom cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alvar Bäckman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alvar Bäckman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Verner Blom, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After having played for 14 minutes, Verner Blom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svaneholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Verner Blom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alvar Bäckman came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Svaneholm's Niclas Sjögren. But to his dismay, Niclas Sjögren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Odysseas Vrakozonis made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Knut Johansson sent off a good shot on target. Sixten Andreasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Stornäset FF defense, Verner Blom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvar Bäckman. The Stornäset FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvar Bäckman should have stopped the shot. Alvar Bäckman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niclas Sjögren in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Verner Blom in the 31st minute of play forced Stornäset FF's goalkeeper Alvar Bäckman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Knut Johansson got free with Odysseas Vrakozonis in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Odysseas Vrakozonis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alvar Bäckman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Verner Blom in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to Stornäset FF getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Joel Wiberg hit a great ball. Niclas Sjögren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvar Bäckman having to interfere. Michel Ekström hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Odysseas Vrakozonis acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 48th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Håkan Flink. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Verner Blom made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Håkan Flink made a precise shot to the right of Odysseas Vrakozonis. Svaneholm's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Niclas Sjögren kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Niclas Sjögrens short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Alvar Bäckman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sixten Andreasson struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Alvar Bäckman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Svaneholm. After 72 minutes, Ivar Tomasson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Svaneholm and the Stornäset FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Svaneholm's Ivar Tomasson got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute Verner Blom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvar Bäckman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Håkan Flink recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Verner Blom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvar Bäckman was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. With a little luck, Stornäset FF's Alvar Bäckman got control of the ball when Niclas Sjögren tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Michel Ekström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svaneholm's supporters rose to their feet, but Michel Ekström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvar Bäckman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Wiberg during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alvar Bäckman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Verner Blom in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Svaneholm's Sixten Andreasson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Alvar Bäckman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Verner Blom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Stornäset FF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Svaneholm's performance. The match ended with a win for Svaneholm.
