Rydöbrukds's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stornäset FF the free kick. In the 16th minute, Stornäset FF's Håkan Flink ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nils Forsell. Nils Forsell yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Stornäset FF's Alvar Bäckman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfred Ekberg in the 20th minute of play. When Rydöbrukds's Maximilian Wennerqvist in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stornäset FF's goalie prevented a goal. Alvar Bäckman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfred Ekberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 28 minutes into the match, Stornäset FF's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Låsberg came free, but Alvar Bäckman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Folke Ahlström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Alvar Bäckman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Maximilian Wennerqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute Manfred Ekberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvar Bäckman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rydöbrukds's Folke Ahlström got a free kick in the 38th minute. Nils Forsell acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fred Fridlund. After a defensive mix-up in Stornäset FF's zone, Manfred Ekberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvar Bäckman came out of the goal and Manfred Ekberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

55 minutes into the game, Lucas Låsberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Alvar Bäckman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 60 minutes, Simon Nordin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rydöbrukds and the Stornäset FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rydöbrukds getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Simon Nordin hit a great ball. Alvar Bäckman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maximilian Wennerqvist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 63 minute of play. The supporters of Stornäset FF booed when Rydöbrukds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Nordin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Lucas Låsberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Manfred Ekberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Alvar Bäckman made a huge save. If Lucas Låsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Rydöbrukds supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rydöbrukds would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
