Valentin Petersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Smed, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Ulf Pettersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jens-Åke Sundström hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Luiz Paulo Tepedino could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Charlie Ekblom however easily saved by the left post. When Edwin Strömberg fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC George's protests and gave Edwin Strömberg a yellow card for diving instead. Edwin Strömberg hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Folke Öberg kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Valentin Petersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Smed in the 24th minute of the match. Jens-Åke Sundström hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Valentin Petersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Pettersson in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, FC George was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Kilstedt to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 33 minutes, Jarl Nyman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC George's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarl Nyman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Edwin Strömberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joachim Smed hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The FC George players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deje RK were winning 0-1.

A collision led to Deje RK getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Lucas Modig hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulf Pettersson got free with Valentin Petersson in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonard Kilstedt hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Ulf Pettersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valentin Petersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joachim Smed, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarl Nyman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Edwin Strömberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC George's supporters rose to their feet, but Edwin Strömberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charlie Ekblom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwin Strömberg in the 71st minute of play forced Deje RK's goalkeeper Charlie Ekblom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Petersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joachim Smed in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to FC George getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Sture Bergvall hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joachim Smed in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valentin Petersson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ulf Pettersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Valentin Petersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Petersson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulf Pettersson went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 84th minute, Folke Öberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 87 minutes, Joachim Smed managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deje RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joachim Smed was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Valentin Petersson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 91 minutes, Jens-Åke Sundström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deje RK and the FC George players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC George booed when Deje RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Åke Sundström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute of the match Luiz Paulo Tepedino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Charlie Ekblom showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leonard Kilstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Ekblom having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Deje RK's Lucas Modig got a free kick in the 95th minute. Deje RK were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over FC George's much stronger midfield.
