Kvissleby's Börge Granqvist was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ralf Pihl in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Valdemar Sjöström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frans Norberg in the 43rd minute of the match. Carl Kleen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ralf Pihl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After some careless play in the Kvissleby defense, Ivar Backlund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdemar Sjöström. The Kvissleby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdemar Sjöström should have stopped the shot. 86 minutes into the match, Ivar Backlund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valdemar Sjöström. Kvissleby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivar Backlund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. The supporters of Gnarp FF booed when Kvissleby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximilian Telin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gnarp FF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
