The crowd rose to their feet as Ermanno Angelini kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sven Ekegren. That made the score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. In the 65th minute, Måns Barck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tommy Nyman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Alfors in the 72nd minute of the match. Ermanno Angelini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Ekegren having to interfere.
