The The Hornets fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joakim Ekegren should have stopped the shot. Hillared's Gustaf Nyberg got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, The Hornets's Joakim Ekegren got control of the ball when Tim Smed tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute John Säfström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Ekegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
