The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timothy Cottrell in the 8th minute of play forced Hillared's goalkeeper Jesper Axelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, André Biörk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juniorerna IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Hillared's Jesper Axelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Biörk in the 39th minute of play. Wictor Bergkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hashim Al Hakam having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Timothy Cottrell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jesper Axelsson. Hillared's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timothy Cottrell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adriano Soares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Juniorerna IF's Timothy Cottrell dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. 56 minutes into the match, Adriano Soares dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jesper Axelsson, 0-5. With a little luck, Hillared's Jesper Axelsson got control of the ball when Adriano Soares tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Juniorerna IF's Jesper Axelsson threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Timothy Cottrell, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 66 minutes into the match, Hillared's goalkeeper Jesper Axelsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lars Axelsson. In the 67th match minute, Hillared was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egil Karlstedt to maneuver through the defense. Mikael Nyström was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 69th minute, Mikael Nyström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Juniorerna IF's Vali Iosifian tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute Timothy Cottrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesper Axelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano Soares got free with Jesper Axelsson in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes into the match, Hillared's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Axelsson came free, but Jesper Axelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jesper Axelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jesper Axelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timothy Cottrell in the 82nd minute of the match. John Säfström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
