When the match had been going on for 16 minutes, Marmaverken IFK's Nils Stenquist got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sebastian Vennerkvist. Bengt-Rune Gallberg struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Sebastian Vennerkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. In the 47th minute Hjalmar Källberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Vennerkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Hjalmar Källberg made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Bengt-Rune Gallberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marmaverken IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt-Rune Gallberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
