In the 5th minute Joseph Wallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egon Kiempe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Douglas Ersman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Paulin in the 7th minute of the match. Joseph Wallin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, David Strandberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Douglas Ersman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Paulin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Joseph Wallin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fyrktorget FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Joseph Wallin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egon Kiempe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwin Sundström in the 31st minute of play forced Lycke's goalkeeper Egon Kiempe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Andy Apelquist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lycke's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fyrktorget FK the free kick. The supporters of Fyrktorget FK booed when Lycke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy Apelquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Fyrktorget FK's Joseph Wallin in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Lycke's zone, Joseph Wallin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egon Kiempe came out of the goal and Joseph Wallin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Pål Dahlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fyrktorget FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pål Dahlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Esbjörn Karlsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Douglas Ersman. Fyrktorget FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esbjörn Karlsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Edwin Sundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Egon Kiempe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Lycke getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Andy Apelquist hit a great ball.
