The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 14 minutes, Lucas Offendahl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bee Hawks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Offendahl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sonny Torsberg in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adam Larsfält saved Storebro BF from getting behind. Bee Hawks's Lucas Offendahl got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Storebro BF getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Johan Haglund hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Storebro BF defense, Lucas Offendahl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adam Larsfält. The Storebro BF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adam Larsfält should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Storebro BF booed when Bee Hawks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Hedlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th match minute, Bee Hawks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Andberg to maneuver through the defense. Adam Larsfält showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sonny Torsberg in the 40th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sonny Torsberg to strike the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Björn Sandell in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bee Hawks's Marc Hedlund. Lucas Offendahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Larsfält having to interfere. 55 minutes into the game, Henrik Hansson threw the ball into play from the sideline.
