The coaching staff of Sörberge BF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ralf Gudmundsson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Sörberge BF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of PeGe FC:s goal. Svante Björnsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Edvin Persson went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Sörberge BF's Svante Björnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Persson in the 15th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Göran Allbom kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Svante Björnsson. That made the score 4-0 in the 18 minute of play. With an all-out effort, PeGe FC's Svante Björnsson threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sven-Edvin Persson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 22nd minute, Arne Palmquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arne Linberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Folke Dahlkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. PeGe FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Folke Dahlkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sörberge BF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Arne Linberg scored to the left of an out of position Svante Björnsson, making the score, 7-0. In the 33rd minute, Urban Hedvall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Löfgren in the 34th minute of play forced Sörberge BF's goalkeeper Svante Björnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, PeGe FC's Folke Dahlkvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Svante Björnsson. Svante Björnsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 9-0. Svante Björnsson came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by PeGe FC's Göran Allbom. But to his dismay, Göran Allbom quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 10-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Folke Dahlkvist to make the kick off. Svante Björnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that PeGe FC were the better team. PeGe FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
