Walter Hård scored 0-2 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bengt-Åke Dahlman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Symphony Blue fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Symphony Blue's Erlend Øvereng looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 33 minutes, Erlend Øvereng made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Handmåla FK's Bengt-Åke Dahlman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 36 minutes into the game, Symphony Blue's Erlend Øvereng nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bengt-Åke Dahlman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. In the 41st minute, Erlend Øvereng left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Symphony Blue fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. After 45th play minutes Erlend Øvereng shot 0-10, a short shot which went by Bengt-Åke Dahlman and just under the crossbar into goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-10 lead.

Bengt-Åke Dahlman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erlend Øvereng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johannes Alfors struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Bengt-Åke Dahlman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Symphony Blue. Erlend Øvereng received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bengt-Åke Dahlman came out and tried to block the shot, but Erlend Øvereng slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 55th minute. Handmåla FK's Bengt-Åke Dahlman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Handmåla FK from getting a goal against them. If Erlend Øvereng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Zmărăndescu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-12 to the left of a surprised Bengt-Åke Dahlman 62 minutes into the match. Bengt-Åke Dahlman made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Erlend Øvereng sent off a good shot on target. Johannes Alfors received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Bengt-Åke Dahlman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erlend Øvereng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Åke Dahlman having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Symphony Blue's Erlend Øvereng sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bengt-Åke Dahlman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bengt-Rune Billvall kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Erlend Øvereng put it in 0-14 from a short distance just to the right of Bengt-Åke Dahlman. Erlend Øvereng in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bengt-Åke Dahlman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 85th minute, Handmåla FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marko Dahlgren fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Symphony Blue's Erlend Øvereng slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bengt-Åke Dahlman. That made the score 0-16 after 91 minutes of play. Symphony Blue's Erlend Øvereng got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Symphony Blue's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
