Theodors Gossar Fc's Ragnar Unesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernt Bäcklin in the 43rd minute of play. When Karl Wållander fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Theodors Gossar Fc's protests and gave Karl Wållander a yellow card for diving instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 86 minutes of play, Theodors Gossar Fc's David Klintæus made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tytus Cichocki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Petter Mikaelsson hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Theodors Gossar Fc's goalkeeper Ragnar Unesson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernt Bäcklin. Many of Värnamo RK's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Värnamo RK may have spent more time on the ball, but Theodors Gossar Fc were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
