Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Gilson Gerber successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 13 minutes into the game, PeGe FC's Göran Allbom nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilson Gerber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When PeGe FC's Folke Dahlkvist in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gilson Gerber didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arne Linberg went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Örebro United! Folke Dahlkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute Folke Dahlkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilson Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Folke Dahlkvist sped through Örebro United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gilson Gerber. Örebro United's Gilson Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Dahlkvist in the 75th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Folke Dahlkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilson Gerber was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Örebro United's Gilson Gerber tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. PeGe FC fully deserved thier win.
