Bengt-Åke Dahlman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Klintæus in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt-Åke Dahlman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute Malte Josefsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Åke Dahlman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 played minutes Handmåla FK got a freekick which was hit by Albert Alrot. When David Klintæus came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Theodors Gossar Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Klintæus couldn't finish the play. Ragnar Unesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Bock, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Bengt-Åke Dahlman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Klintæus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Theodors Gossar Fc's Karl Wållander got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Handmåla FK's zone, David Klintæus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt-Åke Dahlman came out of the goal and David Klintæus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bengt-Åke Dahlman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malte Josefsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eric Frisck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Åke Dahlman having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Malte Josefsson to make the kick off. Eric Frisck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Malte Josefsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Theodors Gossar Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Rune Billvall came free, but Ragnar Unesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th match minute, Theodors Gossar Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Josefsson to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in Handmåla FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Theodors Gossar Fc a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sakarias Bennet, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Handmåla FK's Bengt-Åke Dahlman. 1-0. David Klintæus might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bengt-Åke Dahlman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
