Spectators: 7511 (Terracing: 5634, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Benjamin Andersson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximilian Norberg in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tytus Cichocki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Örebro United's Gilson Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Andersson in the 7th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Värnamo RK's Gilson Gerber threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benjamin Andersson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gilson Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Andersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Maximilian Norberg put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tytus Cichocki. Kurt Kullander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tytus Cichocki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximilian Norberg in the 18th minute of play. After 20th play minutes Maximilian Norberg shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Tytus Cichocki and just under the crossbar into goal. Tytus Cichocki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximilian Norberg in the 29th minute of the match. When Elof Fanström fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Värnamo RK's protests and gave Elof Fanström a yellow card for diving instead. Elof Fanström hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Kurt Kullander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Örebro United's Maximilian Norberg suffered a sore thigh after 33 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Zebastian Gråberg's late challenge caught a Örebro United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zebastian Gråberg helped the player get up and apologised. Zebastian Gråberg kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Rune Samuelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tytus Cichocki came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Örebro United's Kurt Kullander. But to his dismay, Kurt Kullander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 43 minutes into the match, Värnamo RK's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Lund came free, but Tytus Cichocki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Örebro United were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kurt Kullander to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Örebro United's zone, Benjamin Andersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilson Gerber came out of the goal and Benjamin Andersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Radowit Huk's late challenge caught a Örebro United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radowit Huk helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Bäcklin in the 60th minute of play forced Örebro United's goalkeeper Gilson Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilson Gerber didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamin Andersson went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Robert Lund's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tytus Cichocki firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Gunnar Vassenius fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Örebro United's protests and gave Gunnar Vassenius a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Örebro United's Gunnar Vassenius got a free kick in the 71st minute. Gilson Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernt Bäcklin in the 79th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Värnamo RK's Benjamin Andersson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilson Gerber narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Bernt Bäcklin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Värnamo RK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Örebro United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
