Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Czeslaw Niewiadomski started the match with the kick off. Henry Hellbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximilian Norberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Czeslaw Niewiadomski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilson Gerber read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Gilson Gerber stood somewhat misplaced when Czeslaw Niewiadomski came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 7 minute. After 11 played minutes Täfteå IFK got a freekick which was hit by Kent Levander. Örebro United's Johan Hultin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Täfteå IFK. After a rather tough play, Täfteå IFK's Karl Källberg got a free kick in the 14th minute. Henry Hellbom came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Örebro United's Maximilian Norberg. But to his dismay, Maximilian Norberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Sture Eliasson hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Czeslaw Niewiadomski in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gilson Gerber, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gilson Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Collin in the 29th minute of play. When Czeslaw Niewiadomski came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Täfteå IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Czeslaw Niewiadomski couldn't finish the play. Maximilian Norberg scored 1-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henry Hellbom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, Kurt Kullander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Johan Hultin kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximilian Norberg made a kick off. Henry Hellbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximilian Norberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximilian Norbergs short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Henry Hellbom to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gilson Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Czeslaw Niewiadomski in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to Örebro United getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Robert Lund hit a great ball. Gilson Gerber didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Czeslaw Niewiadomski went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Bertil Collin kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Kurt Kullander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Hellbom having to interfere. In the 86thth minute of the game Czeslaw Niewiadomski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Örebro United's Gilson Gerber was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Robert Lund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Täfteå IFK's Henry Hellbom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Täfteå IFK from getting a goal against them. Örebro United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
