The referee ignored Frosta HC's protests and gave Edvard Wennerberg a yellow card for diving instead. Börge Ek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvard Samuelsson in the 19th minute of play. Edvard Samuelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torbjörn Henriksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Yngve Lund made a huge save. Benjamin Stenström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Börge Ek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roger Ekblom hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Eslöv's Yngve Lund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torbjörn Henriksson in the 59th minute of play. Edvard Samuelsson kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 64thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Frosta HC's keeper Börge Ek was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Edvard Samuelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eslöv's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvard Samuelsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Börge Ek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th minute, Roger Ekblom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edvard Samuelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Börge Ek stood somewhat misplaced when Ted Åman came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 92 minute. When the match was over Eslöv could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Frosta HC throughout the match.
