Stellan Stor hit a great ball. Björn Westerstrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börje Wennerqvist in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Stockholm Vikings FC booed when Arboga SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zebastian Sigfridsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Bergdal in the 27th minute of play forced Arboga SK's goalkeeper Björn Westerstrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Egil Eriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stockholm Vikings FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Egil Eriksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Björn Westerstrand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute, Egil Eriksson made a precise shot to the right of Björn Westerstrand. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some careless play in the Arboga SK defense, Henrik Bergdal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Björn Westerstrand. The Arboga SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Björn Westerstrand should have stopped the shot. After 57 minutes of play, Stockholm Vikings FC's Egil Eriksson made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Björn Westerstrand was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arboga SK's Björn Westerstrand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Arboga SK from getting a goal against them. Stockholm Vikings FC's Fanis Giaourtelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Vikström in the 64th minute of play. Maxim Herescu struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Björn Westerstrand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. The corner led Stockholm Vikings FC's Bror Billing to fire away a dangerous shot which Björn Westerstrand despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
