Benjamin Stenström charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Yngve Lund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredric Häll in the 31st minute of play. When Alby's Vilgot Alfors in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eslöv's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Alby's Folke Brask got a free kick in the 50th minute. Filip Bäckström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yngve Lund having to interfere. Edvard Samuelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jens-Åke Wennerqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens-Åke Wennerqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvard Samuelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Eslöv's goalkeeper Yngve Lund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fredric Häll. If Vilgot Alfors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Ted Åman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edvard Samuelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Filip Bäckström was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. 74 minutes into the match, Alby's goal looked a bit too open when Edvard Samuelsson came free, but Jens-Åke Wennerqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vilgot Alfors could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Yngve Lund made a huge save. Vilgot Alfors received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Yngve Lund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 83 played minutes Alby got a freekick which was hit by Folke Brask. Eslöv's Anton Nordin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 84th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Alby. Benjamin Stenström took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jens-Åke Wennerqvist. Jens-Åke Wennerqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Eslöv fans cheered their team off the field, for while Alby had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
