With a little luck, Frosta HC's Börge Ek got control of the ball when Henrik Bergdal tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Bergdal in the 12th minute of play forced Frosta HC's goalkeeper Börge Ek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrik Bergdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fanis Giaourtelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Ove Tham in the 19th minute of play. Maxim Herescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Börge Ek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Stockholm Vikings FC's Per Sandström got a free kick in the 25th minute. When Frosta HC's Sven-Ove Tham in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jon Holmstedt took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fanis Giaourtelis. Fanis Giaourtelis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Fanis Giaourtelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jon Holmstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrik Bergdal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Henrik Bergdal made the kick off in the second half. If Maxim Herescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Frosta HC booed when Stockholm Vikings FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börje Wennerqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Maxim Herescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Börge Ek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roger Ekblom's late challenge caught a Stockholm Vikings FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roger Ekblom helped the player get up and apologised. If Henrik Bergdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Henrik Bergdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Börge Ek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jon Holmstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fanis Giaourtelis having to interfere. In the 87th minute of the match, Jon Holmstedt tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fanis Giaourtelis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 94 minutes into the match, Stockholm Vikings FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jon Holmstedt came free, but Fanis Giaourtelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fanis Giaourtelis was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Jon Holmstedt capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jon Holmstedt really showed his touch with that goal: 4-3.
