Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Henrik Bergdal took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Stockholm Vikings FC's Maxim Herescu in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alby's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Egil Eriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stockholm Vikings FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Egil Eriksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens-Åke Wennerqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Alby booed when Stockholm Vikings FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börje Wennerqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bror Bogren's late challenge caught a Stockholm Vikings FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bror Bogren helped the player get up and apologised. Bror Bogren kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Stockholm Vikings FC's attentive Dejan Savičević managed to snatch the ball when Bror Bogren made a throw-in in the 12th minute of the game. Jens-Åke Wennerqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Bergdal, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute Henrik Bergdal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Åke Wennerqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Egil Eriksson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jens-Åke Wennerqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 25 minutes into the game, Filip Bäckström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stockholm Vikings FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Alby's Filip Bäckström got a free kick in the 25th minute. Börje Wennerqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bror Bogren got his second yellow card in the match during the 43rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 44 played minutes Alby got a freekick which was hit by Bror Bogren. In the 46th minute, Henrik Bergdal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stockholm Vikings FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fredric Häll was the one to do the kick off. Börje Wennerqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jens-Åke Wennerqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute of the match, Egil Eriksson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jens-Åke Wennerqvist saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Alby's zone, Börje Wennerqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Åke Wennerqvist came out of the goal and Börje Wennerqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Alby getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Folke Brask hit a great ball. Jens-Åke Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egil Eriksson in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Stockholm Vikings FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fredric Häll came free, but Fanis Giaourtelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Folke Brask struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Fanis Giaourtelis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alby. Egil Eriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Jens-Åke Wennerqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Börje Wennerqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Stockholm Vikings FC's Maxim Herescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jens-Åke Wennerqvist. That made the score 0-3 after 81 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Lindblom during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th minute, Felix Lindblom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 88th minute of the match Folke Brask completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Folke Brask a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Alby getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Folke Brask hit a great ball. The supporters of Stockholm Vikings FC booed when Alby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredric Häll didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henrik Bergdal was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 95th minute. Stockholm Vikings FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Stockholm Vikings FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
