The supporters of Alby booed when Kinnarumma FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Dahlkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Bengtsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredric Häll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Kinnarumma FF defense, Fredric Häll kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Bengtsson. The Kinnarumma FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Bengtsson should have stopped the shot. When Alby's Vilgot Alfors in 22 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Martin Bengtsson guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The audience was convinced that Per-Åke Helström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens-Åke Wennerqvist was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. If Fredric Häll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 52nd minute Vilgot Alfors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Bengtsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fredric Häll's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Martin Bengtsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 56 minutes, Vilgot Alfors mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alby and the Kinnarumma FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes Alby got a freekick which was hit by Vilgot Alfors. Alby's Jens-Åke Wennerqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Åke Helström in the 58th minute of play. Martin Bengtsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilgot Alfors in the 62nd minute of play. In the 69th minute Vilgot Alfors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Bengtsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fredric Häll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vilgot Alfors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Bengtsson having to interfere. Alby's Fredric Häll got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Vilgot Alfors, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 83 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Martin Bengtsson was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Alby's zone, Dennis Gulliksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Åke Wennerqvist came out of the goal and Dennis Gulliksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fredric Häll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Martin Bengtsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Bengtsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vilgot Alfors showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 91 minute of play. Vilgot Alfors's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Bengtsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. Alby's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
