Spectators: 7552 (Terracing: 5665, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sigvard Ambjörnsson got the match started through his kick off. Inge Trulsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ove Andreasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 8th match minute, Balrog FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigvard Ambjörnsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Ove Andreasson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 15 minutes into the game, Smedjebacken's Måns Ekström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herman Alegren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Erik Finsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Smedjebacken's Inge Trulsson got control of the ball when Robert Åman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ove Andreasson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inge Trulsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Inge Trulsson made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Robert Åman sent off a good shot on target.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigvard Ambjörnsson in the 66th minute of play forced Smedjebacken's goalkeeper Inge Trulsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Knut Lövgren hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Erik Finsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Herman Alegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Balrog FC's Roger Vacker got a free kick in the 81st minute. Sigvard Ambjörnsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Erserman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herman Alegren having to interfere. Alvin Friberger hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute of the match Marko Isaksson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Inge Trulsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Robert Åman scored 2-2 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inge Trulsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mats Mikaelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
