A very good chance. 7 minutes into the match, Ove Andreasson notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Länghem's Mathias Sundberg. Mathias Sundberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ove Andreasson charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ove Andreasson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Balrog FC's Ove Andreasson got a free kick in the 12th minute. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Ove Andreasson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 24 minutes into the match, Balrog FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Strandberg came free, but Herman Alegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Länghem getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Inge Lustig hit a great ball. Herman Alegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Strandberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sigvard Ambjörnsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Mathias Sundberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Balrog FC's Herman Alegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Strandberg in the 34th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Balrog FC got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Dalman. In the 37th minute of the match Paul Kihlberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herman Alegren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 38th minute, Per Månsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Mats Strandberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Länghem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sigvard Ambjörnsson to make the kick off. Herman Alegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Åke Hermansson in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Sigvard Ambjörnsson notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Länghem's Mathias Sundberg. Mathias Sundberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Länghem's zone, Robert Åman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathias Sundberg came out of the goal and Robert Åman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Ove Andreasson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balrog FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ove Andreasson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathias Sundberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Sigvard Ambjörnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Sigvard Ambjörnsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mathias Sundberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. If Karl-Åke Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Länghem's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Åman came free, but Mathias Sundberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Inge Lustig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herman Alegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Strandberg in the 83rd minute of the match. Robert Åman struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Mathias Sundberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balrog FC. Länghem's Mathias Sundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigvard Ambjörnsson in the 85th minute of play. After some careless play in the Länghem defense, Robert Åman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mathias Sundberg. The Länghem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mathias Sundberg should have stopped the shot.
