In the 3rd minute, Gustav Åkerström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jago Terrilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Håkan Fågel came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Änglarna's Sture Telin. But to his dismay, Sture Telin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of Änglarna booed when Tällberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvid Ström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute of the match, Tom Forsman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kalle Bergsten saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 19th minute, Tom Forsman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tällberg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Herbert Pettersson kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. If Jago Terrilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Leif Danielsson notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Tällberg's Håkan Fågel. Håkan Fågel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gustav Åkerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 played minutes Tällberg got a freekick which was hit by Arvid Ström. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sture Telin in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Håkan Fågel saved Tällberg from getting behind. In the 37th minute Sture Telin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Fågel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Bertil Ahlfors got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sture Telin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Fågel having to interfere. Håkan Fågel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sture Telin in the 41st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustav Åkerström got free with Kalle Bergsten in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Änglarna were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tom Forsman to make the kick off. A nice corner shot did that Arvid Ström got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kalle Bergsten quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bertil Ahlfors received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Håkan Fågel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Håkan Fågel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sture Telin's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute, Sture Telin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Håkan Fågel managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Änglarna's Sture Telin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 69 minutes into the match, Jago Terrilla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Håkan Fågel. Tällberg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jago Terrilla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. If Len Meyers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 85 minutes, Herbert Pettersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Änglarna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herbert Pettersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Tällberg's Håkan Fågel got control of the ball when Sture Telin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Håkan Fågel came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Änglarna's Jago Terrilla. But to his dismay, Jago Terrilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. In the 91st minute, Jago Terrilla reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Håkan Fågel. The goal made the score 1-7.
