Mattias Caspersson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 10th minute Sixten Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Caspersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Torbjörn Klint was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sollefteå BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tanumshede FF the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sollefteå BF's Torbjörn Klint got a free kick in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Sandberg in the 15th minute of play forced Sollefteå BF's goalkeeper Sverker Vacker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mattias Caspersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Charamut, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Sverker Vacker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingmar Melin in the 19th minute of the match. Tanumshede FF's Mattias Caspersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixten Ekström in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Sixten Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Caspersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Charamut scored 0-3 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mattias Caspersson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd match minute, Tanumshede FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Brun to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixten Ekström in the 44th minute of play forced Tanumshede FF's goalkeeper Mattias Caspersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ingmar Melin made the kick off in the second half. Stefan Charamut received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mattias Caspersson came out and tried to block the shot, but Stefan Charamut slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, Sollefteå BF's Torbjörn Klint got a free kick in the 58th minute. Leif Britz hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The supporters of Sollefteå BF booed when Tanumshede FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Stenqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mattias Caspersson made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Sixten Ekström sent off a good shot on target. Mattias Caspersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixten Ekström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mattias Caspersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixten Ekström in the 66th minute of play. With a little luck, Tanumshede FF's Mattias Caspersson got control of the ball when Joacim Norberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Tanumshede FF getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Fred Sandberg hit a great ball. The long shot by Kevin Sjögren in the 72nd minute really tested Mattias Caspersson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Sollefteå BF's Sixten Ekström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mattias Caspersson. That made the score 0-6 after 74 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stefan Charamut in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mattias Caspersson saved Tanumshede FF from getting behind. Sixten Ekström's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mattias Caspersson firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tanumshede FF's Mattias Caspersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joacim Norberg in the 89th minute of play. Herbert Brun kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Despite close surveillance by the defense, Leif Britz managed to send off a shot that put the ball into the goal to the left of a disappointed goalkeeper. 0-7 in the 94th minute. When the match was over Sollefteå BF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tanumshede FF throughout the match.
