Spectators: 7474 (Terracing: 5607, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Christian Matsson started the match with the kick off. Bertil Ahlfors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Änglarna's goalkeeper Kalle Bergsten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bertil Ahlfors's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Inge Trulsson firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 13 minutes, George Samuelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Smedjebacken's supporters crossed their fingers, but George Samuelsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leif Danielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inge Trulsson having to interfere. After 19 minutes, Evert Stenqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Smedjebacken and the Änglarna players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Änglarna booed when Smedjebacken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Stenqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Erserman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bertil Ahlfors struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Inge Trulsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Änglarna. In the 28th minute Christian Matsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Trulsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th match minute, Änglarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pjotr Schmeichel to maneuver through the defense. Alvin Friberger was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 31 minutes into the match. After 32 played minutes Smedjebacken got a freekick which was hit by Alvin Friberger. Herbert Pettersson shot a long shot in the 33rd minute and a light blocked Inge Trulsson hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 2-0. Inge Trulsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Matsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Leif Danielsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Trulsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Måns Ekström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when George Samuelsson made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Änglarna got a freekick which was hit by Sten Örtendal. Kalle Bergsten stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of George Samuelsson's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. After 61 minutes, Sten Örtendal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Änglarna and the Smedjebacken players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sten Örtendal hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Smedjebacken's Inge Trulsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Örtendal in the 63rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, George Samuelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Smedjebacken's supporters rose to their feet, but George Samuelsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kalle Bergsten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Inge Trulsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Danielsson in the 68th minute of the match. Kalle Bergsten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Samuelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Matsson in the 74th minute of play forced Smedjebacken's goalkeeper Inge Trulsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Leif Danielsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Inge Trulsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Inge Trulsson came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Änglarna's Sten Örtendal. But to his dismay, Sten Örtendal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. George Samuelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filip Lindholm was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Änglarna's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
