Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Vilshults IF's Tage Lindberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Jakob Martinsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vilshults IF's Torsten Stenqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvid Danielsson in the 6th minute of play. With a little luck, Trattarnas FC's Gustav Carlsson got control of the ball when Stig-Ove Stabbe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gustav Carlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tage Lindberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. When Henry Sikström fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trattarnas FC's protests and gave Henry Sikström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, Trattarnas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Sikström to maneuver through the defense. Gustav Carlsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Wallmark in the 17th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Trattarnas FC's zone, Tage Lindberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustav Carlsson came out of the goal and Tage Lindberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henry Sikström hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Tage Lindberg sped through Trattarnas FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gustav Carlsson. Timmy Källberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Torsten Stenqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Nils Wennerberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vilshults IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trattarnas FC the free kick. Nils Wennerberg hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Torsten Stenqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Falck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Timmy Källberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Timmy Källberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Stenqvist having to interfere. Nils Wennerberg hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Timmy Källberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustav Carlsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Wennerberg in the 44th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Trattarnas FC's goalkeeper Gustav Carlsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nils Wennerberg. Brian Falck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Torsten Stenqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brian Falck was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Stig-Ove Stabbe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tage Lindberg in the 54th minute of play forced Trattarnas FC's goalkeeper Gustav Carlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustav Carlsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Ove Stabbe in the 55th minute of the match. Torsten Stenqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timmy Källberg in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute Stig-Ove Stabbe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustav Carlsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig-Ove Stabbe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henry Ödmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustav Carlsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henry Ödmann ran back to his position shaking his head. Nils Wennerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustav Carlsson having to interfere. Brian Falck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Torsten Stenqvist made a huge save. In the 80th minute of the match, Kurt Felin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Torsten Stenqvist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gustav Carlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Wennerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Nils Wennerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Nils Wennerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustav Carlsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torsten Stenqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Westerstrand in the 94th minute of play. Vilshults IF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
