Emil Ahlroht charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emil Ahlroht the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Henrik Brodin scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sakarias Sillén, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arne Alkvist took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sakarias Sillén. Sakarias Sillén dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Michael Stenberg in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sten Eklund, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Arne Alkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
