Michael Stenberg had several of the VS Åby's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Elliott Sundberg as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Ek in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sakarias Sillén saved Trälarnas FF from getting behind. In the 21st match minute, Trälarnas FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils Kruse to maneuver through the defense. Hjalmar Hamnberg hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Sakarias Sillén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Verner Ödmann in the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Trälarnas FF's Linus Brolin got a free kick in the 27th minute. A collision led to Trälarnas FF getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Nils Kruse hit a great ball. VS Åby's Verner Ödmann got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valentin Boman kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Trälarnas FF's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Tøndborg came free, but Sakarias Sillén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henric Åman hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henric Åman in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sakarias Sillén saved Trälarnas FF from getting behind. In the 47th minute, Alex Ek made a precise shot to the right of Sakarias Sillén. Trälarnas FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michael Stenberg in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elliott Sundberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valentin Boman hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Sakarias Sillén was a little too slow when Verner Ödmann got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-3. After 64 played minutes Trälarnas FF got a freekick which was hit by Hjalmar Hamnberg. Sakarias Sillén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Tøndborg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Trälarnas FF's goal looked a bit too open when Verner Ödmann came free, but Sakarias Sillén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orvar Pihlblad hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Sven-Edvin Askberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Trälarnas FF's goalkeeper Sakarias Sillén had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gunnar Tøndborg. Sakarias Sillén made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Verner Ödmann sent off a good shot on target. Arnold Rütten kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After 78 played minutes, VS Åby's Sven-Edvin Askberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sakarias Sillén came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in VS Åby reached it. The supporters of VS Åby booed when Trälarnas FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orvar Pihlblad didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute Verner Ödmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sakarias Sillén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute of the match Valentin Boman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elliott Sundberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With 89 minutes on the clock, Arnold Rütten commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. VS Åby's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
