Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jonatan Fristedt took the kick off in the first half of the match. Elliott Sundberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Fristedt in the 4th minute of the match. If Henric Åman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Dala-Järna's Oskar Collin got a free kick in the 9th minute. If Marc Malmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20thth minute of the game Verner Ödmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dala-Järna's Karl-Ove Axelsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Jonatan Fristedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Verner Ödmann put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Karl-Ove Axelsson. Dala-Järna's Karl-Ove Axelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henric Åman in the 35th minute of play. Alex Ek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Ove Axelsson having to interfere. A collision led to Dala-Järna getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Marc Malmgren hit a great ball. Verner Ödmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Karl-Ove Axelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 minutes of play, VS Åby's Verner Ödmann made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl-Ove Axelsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Verner Ödmann to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Verner Ödmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. VS Åby's supporters rose to their feet, but Verner Ödmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Ove Axelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Dala-Järna's zone, Verner Ödmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Ove Axelsson came out of the goal and Verner Ödmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 60 minutes of play, Dala-Järna's Jonatan Fristedt made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elliott Sundberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 63 minutes into the match, Dala-Järna's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Tøndborg came free, but Karl-Ove Axelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When VS Åby's Verner Ödmann in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dala-Järna's goalie prevented a goal. In the 66th minute of the match, Verner Ödmann tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Karl-Ove Axelsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. VS Åby's Elliott Sundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olle Bengtsson in the 67th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Dala-Järna's zone, Henric Åman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Ove Axelsson came out of the goal and Henric Åman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Verner Ödmann sped through Dala-Järna's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karl-Ove Axelsson. Karl-Ove Axelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Tøndborg in the 78th minute of play. Henric Åman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Karl-Ove Axelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute Jonatan Fristedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elliott Sundberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in VS Åby's zone, Jonatan Fristedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elliott Sundberg came out of the goal and Jonatan Fristedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sven-Edvin Askberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karl-Ove Axelsson. Dala-Järna's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Verner Ödmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Ove Axelsson was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. When the final whistle sounded VS Åby left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dala-Järna.
