An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Kielstedt in the 11th minute of play forced Vilshults IF's goalkeeper Torsten Stenqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig-Ove Stabbe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but 孟皓桑 made a huge save. A collision led to AFC Våla getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Bengt-Rune Gummeson hit a great ball. 孟皓桑 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tage Lindberg in the 18th minute of play. Christer Täman hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 孟皓桑 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tage Lindberg in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Stig-Ove Stabbe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 孟皓桑. AFC Våla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stig-Ove Stabbe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 28th minute, Tage Lindberg made a precise shot to the right of 孟皓桑. AFC Våla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 31st minute, one of AFC Våla:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AFC Våla. AFC Våla's 孟皓桑 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tage Lindberg in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Tage Lindberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of 孟皓桑, 4-0. A collision led to AFC Våla getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Bengt-Rune Gummeson hit a great ball. If Ulrik Norberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tage Lindberg to make the kick off. Christer Täman charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christer Täman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Torsten Stenqvist successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 57th minute of the match Stefan Ivarsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Torsten Stenqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Stig-Ove Stabbe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stig-Ove Stabbe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 孟皓桑 having to interfere. After a rather tough play, AFC Våla's Bengt-Rune Gummeson got a free kick in the 66th minute. Tage Lindberg scored 5-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 孟皓桑, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tage Lindberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, AFC Våla's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Ove Stabbe came free, but 孟皓桑 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 孟皓桑 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tage Lindberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. A collision led to AFC Våla getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Christer Täman hit a great ball. Stig-Ove Stabbe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 孟皓桑 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of Vilshults IF booed when AFC Våla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christer Täman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 孟皓桑 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tage Lindberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vilshults IF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
