After having played for 16 minutes, Michael Stenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trälarnas FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Stenberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute Michael Stenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Lund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Kivs United defense, Michael Stenberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anton Lund. The Kivs United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anton Lund should have stopped the shot. Michael Stenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Anton Lund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Augusto Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michael Stenberg in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Lund saved Kivs United from getting behind. Zé Augusto Botelho's late challenge caught a Trälarnas FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Augusto Botelho helped the player get up and apologised. Zé Augusto Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Anton Lund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Stenberg in the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Linus Brolin in the 37th minute of play forced Kivs United's goalkeeper Anton Lund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anton Lund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michael Stenberg's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Linus Brolin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Lund having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute, Lars Mellberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 52 minutes into the match, Trälarnas FF's Linus Brolin shot a high long ball. Kivs United's goalkeeper was lucky when the ball hit the right post and out. In the 53rd minute of the match, Linus Brolin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anton Lund saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 54th minute, Kivs United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Michael Stenberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Trälarnas FF's zone, Zé Augusto Botelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sakarias Sillén came out of the goal and Zé Augusto Botelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Trälarnas FF booed when Kivs United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Mellberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orvar Pihlblad charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orvar Pihlblad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute, Orvar Pihlblad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zé Augusto Botelho hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Anton Lund was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Linus Brolin. Anton Lund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Linus Brolin, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Michael Stenberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anton Lund made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Michael Stenberg sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Michael Stenberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anton Lund was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Linus Brolin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Anton Lund when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Kivs United booed when Trälarnas FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orvar Pihlblad didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Trälarnas FF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Trälarnas FF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
