When Arvid Danielsson fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trattarnas FC's protests and gave Arvid Danielsson a yellow card for diving instead. Timmy Källberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Sten Eklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Timmy Källberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sten Eklund. Timmy Källberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 25 minutes into the match, Rickard Nordström notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Trattarnas FC's Gustav Carlsson. Gustav Carlsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 32nd minute Arne Alkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustav Carlsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustav Carlsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rickard Nordström in the 34th minute of the match. Gustav Carlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Ström in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Valskog's goalkeeper Sten Eklund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timmy Källberg. 40 minutes into the game, Stig-Åke Ström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valskog's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trattarnas FC the free kick. In the 40th minute, Stig-Åke Ström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Brian Falck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Trattarnas FC booed when Valskog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Nordström didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sven-Olof Forss made the kick off in the second half. Valskog's Sten Eklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timmy Källberg in the 61st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Sven-Olof Forss managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valskog's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Olof Forss was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustav Carlsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Forss in the 66th minute of play forced Trattarnas FC's goalkeeper Gustav Carlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustav Carlsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Åke Ström in the 70th minute of the match. Gustav Carlsson made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Rickard Nordström sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, Rickard Nordström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gustav Carlsson, 2-2. After having played for 77 minutes, Göran Westerstrand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trattarnas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Göran Westerstrand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th match minute, Valskog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Åke Ström to maneuver through the defense. Sven-Olof Forss kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Valskog's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Falck came free, but Sten Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arne Alkvist got free with Gustav Carlsson in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Valskog's Gustav Carlsson threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stig-Åke Ström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Brian Falck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timmy Källberg struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Sten Eklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trattarnas FC. Timmy Källberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
