Tomas Bergström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stig Skog kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to Gubbvadens BK getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Roger Asmundsson hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gubbvadens BK's zone, Andreas Lundqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils Olsmann came out of the goal and Andreas Lundqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gubbvadens BK's Nils Olsmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olof Colin in the 29th minute of play. Roger Asmundsson hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 33 minutes, Olof Colin made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Gubbvadens BK's Nils Olsmann tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Lovikka's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Bergström came free, but Rune Högman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olof Colin struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Nils Olsmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lovikka. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andreas Lundqvist was the one to do the kick off. When Olof Colin came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Lovikka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olof Colin couldn't finish the play. After 58 minutes, Anton Lund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gubbvadens BK and the Lovikka players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gubbvadens BK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 60 minutes, Lovikka's Emil Lövskog got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Nils Olsmann. Frank Sundén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Högman having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lovikka's Johan Tingberg got a free kick in the 65th minute. Lovikka's Rune Högman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sundén in the 68th minute of play. Andreas Lundqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Olsmann having to interfere. A collision led to Lovikka getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Peter Hellgren hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the game, Tomas Bergström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Rune Högman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lovikka's Johan Tingberg got his second yellow card of the match in the 89th minute. The referee ordered Johan Tingberg off the ground. After a rather tough play, Lovikka's Johan Tingberg got a free kick in the 89th minute. Rune Högman didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Gubbvadens BK's Tomas Bergström shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-2 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 97th minute Roger Asmundsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Högman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rune Högman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Bergström in the 102nd minute of play. Gubbvadens BK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
