Andy Hellsing kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Maximilian Abrahamsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Stig-Åke Berggren could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Kjell Berggren however easily saved by the left post. In the 24th minute Egil Brovall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Berggren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kjell Berggren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximilian Abrahamsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Göran Törnkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jakob Falkrantz. Horseforce Battleboars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Göran Törnkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Jakob Falkrantz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Törnkvist in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Andy Hellsing made a precise shot to the right of Jakob Falkrantz. Horseforce Battleboars's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After having played for 43 minutes, Mikael Forssell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rottne IF Fotboll's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikael Forssell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Göran Törnkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stefan Hellkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakob Falkrantz having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Horseforce Battleboars's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Forssell came free, but Jakob Falkrantz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Maximilian Abrahamsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Horseforce Battleboars's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rottne IF Fotboll the free kick. In the 63rd match minute, Horseforce Battleboars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximilian Abrahamsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th match minute, Rottne IF Fotboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Hellsing to maneuver through the defense. But to his dismay, Stefan Hellkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When Billy Westerberg fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rottne IF Fotboll's protests and gave Billy Westerberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rottne IF Fotboll getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Billy Westerberg hit a great ball. Kjell Berggren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zebastian Häger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sven-Ove Vennerlund came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Rottne IF Fotboll fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Ove Vennerlund couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Rottne IF Fotboll booed when Horseforce Battleboars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orvar Gustafsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mikael Forssell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jakob Falkrantz came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Rottne IF Fotboll's Andy Hellsing. But to his dismay, Andy Hellsing quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After having played for 94 minutes, Mikael Forssell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rottne IF Fotboll's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikael Forssell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Rottne IF Fotboll could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Horseforce Battleboars throughout the match.
